This relatively new Parkland course originally opened as an, 9-hole course but due to the commitment of the active committees since its inception in 1993 this course has developed into a fine 18-hole course. Mannan Castle Golf Club has a magnificent clubhouse where the visitor is provided with all he or she can require. This course is somewhat difficult to find once you have left Carrickmacross, town so allow yourself plenty of time before your tee time. The club has just opened a 10-bay driving range across the road from the clubhouse.
